Eating at Amy's for the first time was a solidly good experience. We were stuck in traffic and we stopped in for lunch to rest for a little bit. The staff was the best part. It felt like it wouldn't take long to know everyones name and be welcomed as family. The food was satisfying-good sized lunch portions. Highly recommend the French Silk Pie. The Reuben Egg Rolls were a fun novelty-heavy and fried. Overall-I'd love a little more flavor and a comfortable booth, but don't skip it. Amy's is a local treasure.

Service, food and atmosphere are very good. More of a hometown restaurant. Don't expect the fastest service, but come to socialize and eat, not to rush through a meal. Great place for a couple or a . No change. Great service. 1/2 hamburger really tasty.

We have driven by for years and never stopped. Had time Saturday afternoon to take a break and did NOT regret it. We ordered Ruben egg rolls and crab dip for apps. eggs rolls were off the hook. Crab dip had great flavor but did lack on lump crab meat. There were two different chicken wraps ordered and they were both delicious. Had a cheeseburger and it was perfect. Also a Ruben that was really good and lastly a childs mac and cheese that as you can see by the pics was delicious. Service was phenomenal, they were very busy but our waitress didn’t miss a beat. Atmosphere was great in this historic bldg. So if you are headed into FXBG and wanna grab a bite before going into downtown I’d highly recommend this hidden gem!

Fantastic food, friendly service, best spicy bloody mary I've had in Fred. The historical building is really cool. Over 200 years old with some really great nostalgic photos through the years. My country fried steak was legit. Wifey got a BLT and said it was awesome. My son got the Double Meat Steak & Cheese and it was devoured quickly.

The food used fresh ingredients. The omelett was filled with fresh bacon and ham, but only a slice of cheese on top. It was a little dry, but good. The biscuits and gravy was phenomenal, and the country fried steak, while on the smaller side, was great too. The biscuit was a bit rubbery, but I think it was an exception because everything else was great. The service was amazing. We ordered and literally got our food in less than 10 minutes for a party of 3. We were able to enjoy our meal quickly and the sever we had was excellent. Reasonably priced , as well. For the 3 mentioned orders, it came to 42. This place stays pretty busy.
